Workstation role and effect
Kitchen Table moves your progression from hand blades to station hardware by expanding the indoor workbench and adding the Auto Launcher. Instead of only slicing single potatoes by hand over the tray, the expanded bench prepares the room for higher volume transfer across the station.
Adding the Auto Launcher bridges the gap between manual counter work and the first drum machines, keeping peeled potatoes moving off the cutting board and straight down the indoor water channel.
Cost tier and table position
Printed at 12 currency (numeric value 12) in sequence row 3 of 9, Kitchen Table marks the jump from decimal tool prices into whole-number station investments. It sits above Steel Knife (2.70) and directly below Crank Peel Machine (20).
Together, Kitchen Table at 12 and Crank Peel Machine at 20 require 32 currency total to set up the expanded bench and first hand-cranked drum before mid-shift automation.
Shift handling and hotfix notes
As throughput rises around the bench and water channel, Hotfix 1.0.2 prevents late-game channel slowdowns when peeled potatoes bunch up and makes the top two water channel speeds slightly faster.
If loose potatoes sit in buckets or wheelbarrows around the room when you save and reload, those container potatoes return to the main pile on load, whereas potatoes already placed inside machine hoppers stay in the hoppers.
