After the crane is bought, the pile recounts every 6 minutes during manual crane operation, or every 2.5 minutes with crane autopilot enabled.

Potato Please
Potato Please is the first-person peeling shift Golden Horn Studios released on Steam for Windows on November 3, 2026. The current build is Hotfix 1.0.2.
Six of the twenty achievement rows are marked hidden, and the board includes every description and global unlock percentage.
The live build
Hotfix 1.0.2 — November 5, 2026Golden Horn Studios shipped Potato Please on November 3, 2026, followed by Hotfix 1.0.1 on November 4 and Hotfix 1.0.2 on November 5. Across those two post-launch updates, the studio tuned pile recount intervals, hopper persistence across saves, troubleshooting cooldowns, and camera controls at the peeling bench.
The key potato stays in place until you pick it up by hand. Neither the potato vacuum nor the puppy can take it.
Even with Muscle Memory unlocked, the last spots on a potato can still require a final pass with the hand knife.
Unstuck, Wheelbarrow troubleshooting, and Sack troubleshooting all run on a 60-second cooldown, and Repile sits in the pause menu.
Hotfix 1.0.1 lets a finished save replay the ending without restarting the entire potato pile from the beginning.
Hard difficulty uses the Strict peeling rule rather than No Mercy, while Invert Y turns only the camera view.
Station desks and shift reference
Every shift starts with a knife, a bucket, and an outdoor mountain of potatoes beside the bunker. As your count climbs from the warm-up shift toward the 1,000-potato and 10,000-potato milestones, the work moves from thin manual cuts at the kitchen water channel to hoppers, sacks, cableways, and crane recounts.

The other potato sim
