LaunchNovember 3, 2026Potato Please launches November 3! 🥔

Golden Horn Studios posted on 31 October 2026 that Potato Please launches on November 3. The post does not print a build number.

  • Just 3 days remained when that post went up, and the only request in it is to wishlist Potato Please on Steam.
  • A September 22 post thanked players for 10,000 wishlists.
  • An October 7 post thanked players for 59,154 wishlists and pointed to a YouTube Short.

Finished saves can replay the ending, troubleshooting cooldowns drop to 60 seconds, and Hard difficulty uses Strict peeling.

  • A cleared yard stays clear after you load, and a finished save does not bring the snowstorm back.
  • Older saves are backed up automatically before they update to the new format.
  • The pause menu points you toward Troubleshooting when a shift sticks.
  • Once crane autopilot starts, the pile restacks every 3 minutes while you are not looking, and the loudspeaker announces each recount.
  • Cut potatoes roll back out of the peeling machine hopper unpeeled instead of staying stuck.
  • Players can no longer slip out of the room through the output channel or the wall fan.
  • A steering wheel, pedals, flight stick, or virtual joystick no longer walks the character forward or breaks WASD.
  • The duplicated controls list in Settings is fixed, so blocked rebinds can be set again.
  • Invert Y turns only the camera, while peeling, letters, and darts keep following the mouse or the stick.
  • Menus on ultra-wide displays are no longer cut off, and long translations fit in objective and upgrade titles.
  • If menus or objectives load blank, the game asks you to verify the files through Steam.
  • The Wheelbarrow and Auto Rotate descriptions were corrected to match the controls.
  • Hand-shake intensity has its own slider.
  • You can mute the puppy, and you still hear it cry if it gets lost.
  • Potatoes the puppy peels do not count as machine output for quests.
  • If the shift is still stuck, the post points you to the report option on the Troubleshooting page.
1.0.2November 5, 2026Hotfix 1.0.2 is live

The live hotfix keeps hopper, vacuum, bucket, and wheelbarrow loads honest, and it sets the crane recount to 6 minutes or 2.5 minutes with autopilot.

  • Peeled potatoes jamming the water channel no longer cause the late-game slowdowns and crashes, and the last two channel speeds are slightly faster.
  • Machine hoppers keep their potatoes when you save and load.
  • Potatoes in the vacuum tank stay in the save.
  • Potatoes in a bucket or a wheelbarrow return to the pile on load.
  • The rank at the start of a new shift no longer shows the wrong value.
  • Storm chill and the free flamethrower no longer show up early on a new game or on a save from before the storm.
  • An endless fall after a bad reset no longer throws you back into the air.
  • Unstuck no longer leaves you without controls or a HUD.
  • Loading a save after the ending no longer leaves the HUD empty.
  • Pressing ESC during the opening black screen no longer freezes the game.
  • Master Peeler completes with its reward once the quota is done, and a save stuck on that page recovers on load.
  • The key potato stays in place until you pick it up, so the vacuum and the puppy cannot carry it off.
  • The supply drop lands on the ground or the snow and no longer catches on the crane.
  • The loudspeaker announces every other recount, and the recount starts when you buy the crane.
  • Hotfix 1.0.1 restacked every 3 minutes while you looked away, and the live gap is longer unless autopilot is on.
  • The red hold-R Repile badge is gone, and Repile remains in the pause menu.
  • Sacks pour into the middle of the hopper instead of tearing where they caught, and a full machine leaves the sack whole.
  • Holding E on a loaded villager crate sends the crate instead of sacking its potatoes.
  • Blocks of snow that appeared inside the room after the storm are gone.
  • A new Accessibility tab adds blood color and a color blindness filter, and green, blue, and purple blood colors are brighter.
  • Muting the puppy also silences its lost whine.
  • The Muscle Memory description now says the last spots may need peeling by hand.
  • The French description of the T-34 bucket was rewritten.
  • Replaying the ending from a finished save no longer changes your shift time.
  • Invalid shift times were removed from the global leaderboards, and a recording can get a removed run reviewed.
  • The post still points stuck shifts to the report option on the Troubleshooting page.
