Potato Please Build 1.0.2

Shift Desk in Potato Please

Shift Desk in Potato Please is the pause-menu door into Troubleshooting. Use it when Unstuck, the wheelbarrow, or a sack locks the shift. Those three fixes, and Repile, now wait 60 seconds.

Cooldown

Hotfix 1.0.1 cut the Troubleshooting wait from 5 minutes to 60 seconds, and Hotfix 1.0.2 kept that minute while fixing Unstuck itself.

Troubleshooting

01Unstuck60 seconds1.0.2

The Unstuck cooldown is 60 seconds. Hotfix 1.0.2 also fixes Unstuck leaving you without controls or a HUD.

Open the pause menu. Hotfix 1.0.1 added a pointer there toward Troubleshooting.

Use Unstuck, then wait 60 seconds before using it again.

A bad reset could throw you into an endless fall. That loop is fixed, and ESC on the opening black screen no longer freezes the shift.

02Wheelbarrow60 seconds1.0.2

Potatoes in a wheelbarrow return to the pile on load. Wheelbarrow troubleshooting now waits 60 seconds instead of 5 minutes.

Use the troubleshooting page if the wheelbarrow sticks.

Hotfix 1.0.1 corrected the Wheelbarrow description so the words match the control.

A loaded bucket does the same thing on load: those potatoes go back onto the pile.

03Sack60 seconds1.0.2

Sacks pour into the middle of the hopper. A full machine leaves the sack whole. The Sack troubleshooting cooldown is 60 seconds.

Pour a sack into the middle of the hopper.

Sacks used to tear where they were caught. They now empty into the middle of the machine.

Hold E on a loaded villager crate to send the crate. That hold no longer sacks the potatoes inside it.

04Save replayFinished save1.0.1

A finished save can play the ending again, so a missed moment does not require a new shift.

A cleared yard stays clear after you load, and a finished save does not bring the snowstorm back.

Older saves are backed up before the new format is applied.

Replaying that ending no longer changes your shift time, and loading after the ending no longer leaves the HUD empty.

Master Peeler pays its reward once the quota is done. A save stuck on that page recovers when you load it.

Camera and difficulty

Hotfix 1.0.1 stops a connected steering wheel, pedals, flight stick, or virtual joystick from walking the character forward, and it fixes a duplicated controls list that blocked some rebinds.

If menus or objectives load blank, verify the game files in Steam. Ultra-wide menus that were cut off are fixed in that same post.

Hotfix 1.0.2 adds an Accessibility tab for blood color and a color blindness filter. Muting the puppy in 1.0.1 still left the lost cry, and the live post silences that whine as well.

05Repile60 seconds1.0.2

The red hold-R Repile badge is gone. Repile stays in the pause menu, and its cooldown is 60 seconds.

Open the pause menu and use Repile.

06Invert YCamera only1.0.1

Invert Y affects only the camera. Peeling, letters, and darts follow the mouse or stick.

Invert the camera without inverting the knife.

Hand-shake intensity has its own setting. Lower it if the knife drifts.

07HardStrict peeling1.0.1

Hard difficulty uses Strict peeling instead of No Mercy.

Choose Hard when you want Strict peeling.

Repile is the pause-menu button with its own 60-second wait. It is separate from the crane. Once the crane is bought, the pile recounts every 6 minutes, or every 2.5 minutes when autopilot is on, and the loudspeaker announces every other recount.

If the shift is still stuck after the cooldown, use the report option on the Troubleshooting page.
