Workstation role and effect

Overclock is the ninth and final entry in the printed upgrade table, doubling the processing rate of your peeling bay by making every peeling drum run twice as fast. Rather than adding a new physical frame to the room, it multiplies the throughput of the drums you already own.

Doubling drum speed is designed for the final push through the 10,000-potato milestone (Ten Thousand) and clearing every last potato on the pile for The Quota and Fully Automated.

Cost tier and table position

Overclock lists a printed cost of 1,400 (numeric value 1400) at sequence row 9 of 9. In table order it is the closing entry after Sack Cableway (1,250), while in ascending cost order it sits eighth overall—150 currency above Sack Cableway and 700 currency below the 2,100 Claw Crane.

It costs exactly five times the 280 price of a single Auto Peel Machine or Sack Gantry.

Shift handling and hotfix notes

Because Overclock doubles the rate at which peeled potatoes exit the drums, it benefits directly from the Hotfix 1.0.2 water channel improvements, which eliminated late-game channel slowdowns and sped up the top two water channel tiers.

Once your overclocked drums finish the quota, Hotfix 1.0.2 ensures the Master Peeler milestone completes with its reward, and any save that previously stuck on the reward screen recovers automatically on load.
