Hotfix 1.0.1 and Hotfix 1.0.2 tightened how peeling machines handle edge cases: partly cut potatoes from the counter can no longer enter the peeling machine and instead roll back out of the hopper unpeeled.
Additionally, pouring a sack into a machine that is already at full capacity leaves the sack intact rather than consuming it, preventing lost loads in the machine bay.
